Timble's iPayroll integration allows you to automatically send timesheets and leave requests to iPayroll, eliminating manual data entry.
Before connecting Timble, you'll need to create a dedicated API user in your iPayroll account. This user allows Timble to securely access your iPayroll data.
Step 1. In iPayroll, go to Setup → Users, then click the Add button.

Step 2. Fill in the new user details and set the access type to API User.

Step 3. Save the new user. You'll use this API user's credentials when connecting Timble in the next step.
To add iPayroll integration, go to Settings → Integration.

Enter your iPayroll account username and password to connect Timble to your iPayroll account. Once connected, you'll see "Connected" on the screen.

After connecting to your iPayroll account, complete the employee mapping to link Timble employees with their corresponding iPayroll profiles.
In iPayroll Settings under the Employee Mapping tab, you'll see your iPayroll employees listed on the left. Click "Select a member in Timble" and choose the corresponding members in Timble. For staff who don't need timesheet exports, leave the field empty or select "Set as Ignore".

Timble automatically maps leave types, so no action is required. Here are the pay elements mapping for reference:

Before exporting, ensure all timesheets for the pay period are approved. Click Export and select "iPayroll (New Zealand)".

Timble automatically fetches open pay cycles from iPayroll. Simply select the pay cycle you want to process.

The system will export timesheets and leave requests for the selected employees. You'll see the export results once complete. After successful export, click "Go to iPayroll" to continue your pay run. Note: Multiple exports will add up hours cumulatively. If you need to re-export, first delete the affected timesheets in iPayroll.

Once all data is exported, review the entries and complete your pay run in iPayroll.
