Update your billing email, address and GST

Guide

Change the email address your Timble invoices are sent to, the name and address they are billed to, and the GST number shown on them.

Keep the details on your Timble invoices up to date: where the invoices are sent, who they are billed to, and your GST number.

All three are in the Payment details section of the Billing tab.

  1. Click your profile picture in the top right, then click Settings.
  2. Click Billing on the left. The Billing & Plan tab opens.
  3. Scroll down to Payment details. You'll see your current Billing email, the name and address under Billed to, and your GST number, each with its own button.
The Settings window on the Billing tab, Billing & Plan selected, with the Payment details section showing the Billing email, Billed to and GST rows and their Update email, Update billing info and Update GST buttons

Change the billing email

  1. Beside Billing email, click Update email.
  2. In the Update billing email window, replace the address in the Email field.
  3. Click Update.
The Update billing email window, with the line "Invoices will be sent to this email address." and the Email field
Note: The billing email is separate from the email you sign in to Timble with. Changing one doesn't change the other, so your sign-in stays the same when invoices start going to a new address.

Change the name and address on your invoices

  1. Beside Billed to, click Update billing info.
  2. In the Update billing info window, change the name, country or address.
  3. Click Update. The new details appear under Billed to.
The Update billing info window with the name and address form filled in, and the Update and Cancel buttons at the bottom

Add or change your GST number

  1. Beside GST, click Update GST.
  2. In the Update GST window, type your GST number into the GST field. The field starts empty each time, so type the full number even if you're only correcting one digit.
  3. Click Update. The number now shows under GST on the Billing tab.
The Update GST window, with the line "Will be displayed on your invoices." and the GST field showing the Enter GST number... placeholder
Note: Saving a GST number replaces the one you had before. The number is displayed on your invoices from then on.
