Tag a shift

Guide

Mark a shift as Late, Sick, No-show or Shift covering on the roster, so the week shows what actually happened.

Mark what happened on a shift: Late, Sick, No-show or Shift covering.

Note: You can only tag a shift that is already on the roster, and tagging one doesn't turn a published shift back into a draft.

On the web

  1. Click Roster in the top bar.
  2. Click the shift you want to tag.
  3. Click the tag icon beside the times.
  4. Under Tag shift as, click the tag you want, or None to take one off.
The web shift editor with the Tag shift as list open, showing None, Late, Sick, No-show and Shift covering
  1. Click Save. The shift shows its tag colour on the roster.

On your phone

  1. Tap Roster, then tap the shift to open Actions.
  2. Tap Tag.
  3. Tap the tag you want, or None to take one off. A tick shows the current one.
The Tag screen with None, Late, Sick, No-show and Shift covering, and a tick beside the chosen one
  1. Tap Done.
Note: Tags are for you and your other managers. A member doesn't see a tag on their own shift, and tagging one doesn't change its hours.
