Review and edit timesheets

Guide

Compare each member's clocked times with their rostered shifts on the Timesheets page, and correct the times, role, breaks or notes on an entry before you approve it.

Compare the hours each member clocked with the shifts they were rostered, then correct any entry that is wrong.

  1. Click Timesheets at the top of the page.
  2. Click All Locations and pick a location. If your business uses departments, click All Departments and pick a department too.
  3. Click the dates to choose a week. The arrows beside the dates move the range back or forward by the number of days it covers.
  4. Click a member in the list on the left. Under each name, Timble shows how many records that member has and their total hours.
  5. Check the member's entries. Planned shows the shift they were rostered, and Actual shows the times they clocked. A dash under Planned means the entry isn't linked to a published shift. That happens when someone adds an entry by hand, or when a member clocks in on a day they had no shift at that location. A Late tag means the member clocked in after the shift started, and the number beside the date tells you how many notes the entry has.
  1. Click an entry to open Edit Timesheet Entry. Discarded entries don't open.
Note: You can't change an approved entry. Its fields are greyed out, and the Unapprove button sits where Save normally does. Click Unapprove first, then make your changes.
  1. Correct any field that's wrong: Role, Date, Start Time, Finish Time, Rest break (paid, in minutes) or Meal break (unpaid, in minutes). The meal break comes off the total hours. The rest break does not change the total.
Note: Member, Location and Department are greyed out on an existing entry. If any of those three is wrong, you have to discard the entry and create a replacement. Tick the entry, click the three dots beside Approve, click Discard, then add a correct entry with New Entry.
  1. Type anything other managers should know under Notes(only managers can see). If the member left a note of their own, it appears just above that field.
  1. Click Save.
Note: The entry stays Pending until you approve it. Your change is recorded as Edited under Show history.
